Terms and Conditions of The Together Network

1. Name
The name of the Club is “The Together Network" ("the Club").

2. Objects
The objects of the Club are to hold social events for single and unattached people

3. Proprietor
The Club is a proprietary club, the proprietor of which is The Together Network Ltd. Artisan’s House 7 Queensbridge Northampton Northants NN4 7BF ("the Proprietor").

4. Management
The general management of the affairs of the Club in all matters is under the entire control of, and is conducted by, the Proprietor or the appointed representative or successor in title of the proprietor.

5. Membership and Admission

5.1 Membership of the Club is at the sole discretion of the Proprietor and is by invitation only.

5.2 Admission is subject to the acceptance of the Club terms and conditions as to payment or otherwise as the Proprietor determines from time to time.

5.3 A Member Guest of the Club is a Social Member.

5.4 A Social Member once admitted remains such for one year unless Membership ceases as set out in Rule 8.

6. Fees

6.1 The joining fee – Membership Fee for admission to Social Membership of the Club is such sum as the Proprietor determines from time to time and is non refundable.

7. Attendance at Functions

7.1 No Social Member shall be entitled to attend a Club event unless the appropriate payment is made in accordance with the Booking Conditions notified to the Social Member.

7.2 The number of Social Members attending Club event may be limited and acceptance of a Social Member's booking application is at the sole discretion of the Proprietor.

8. Cessation of Membership
A member ceases to be a member of the Club:

8.1 A Social Member must attend the event once booked. Non attendance at a booked event twice, without good reason, will render the membership cancelled. No refund will be given.

8.2 By notification to the Proprietor; or

8.3 Due to expulsion as provided in Rule 9

8.4 On any such date as may be notified to the Social Member by the Proprietor for the time being as the date that the Club shall cease to exist.

9. Conduct
The Proprietor may suspend or expel from membership any Social Member, without refund:

9.1 Who acts in breach of the terms and conditions or regulations of the Club; or

9.2 Whose conduct is prejudicial to the interests of the Club or its Social Members or in the opinion of the Proprietor renders him unfit for membership.

10. Smoking Policy
The Proprietor operates a non-smoking policy at events where Social Members are asked to refrain from smoking. Smoking areas will, however, be made available as far as possible at all events.

11. Liability

11.1 The Club cannot accept any responsibility for any loss, theft of property, personal damage or injury affecting a Social Member or visitor to a Club event, or the Social member or visitors vehicle.

11.3 It is the Social Members responsibility for their own safety. Adequate insurance must be provided by the Social Member, particularly when participating in Leisure Activities.

11.2 The Club cannot be held responsible for alcohol consumed by a Social Member or a visitor to a Club event and whether or not that person is over the legal alcohol limit to drive.

11.3 Although each Social Member completes an application form to become a member of the Club, prior to admission, the Club does not undertake any further investigation and shall not be liable in respect of any matter which would have been revealed by further investigation.

11.4 Except insofar as such liability cannot be excluded by law, the Proprietor shall have no liability for the action, omissions or behaviour of the Members of the Club or their visitors.

11.5 The Together Network can not be held responsible for the omissions or cancellation of a 3rd party organisation event.

12. The Proprietor may from time to time revoke, vary, add or alter the terms and conditions of the Club and is the sole authority for interpreting the terms and conditions and for settling all disputes relating to the affairs of the Club and the conduct of the Social Members.

13. Interpretation
In these rules:

13.1 References to the masculine include the feminine and where appropriate the singular the plural; and

13.2 The headings are for ease of reference only and are not to be taken into account in their interpretation.

14 Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
